A coach, bearing the crests of the Houses of the Phoenix, de Grey and Sinclair, and also the coats of arms of the Baronies of Hereford and Bridgewater arrives at the gates. A small dog pokes it's head out the curtained opening and barks.
"Buon Giorno, shush BoBo, perdonme, I am Lady Elinorerose Giovanna de Grey-Phoenix Sinclair, I would like to see Lady Arielle, per favore. Grazie."

His eyes wide opened in an awed astonishment, Bartoloméo approached the coach and bowed respectfully to the beautiful foreign lady. He had heard that some very important guests coming from as far as England would come to the festivities, but had not really believed it before this very moment.

He stammered some greetings with his awkward English. Welcome to Azé, mi Ladi. He looked at the small dog with a shy smile. Oh what a nice little dog. Hum. Pleeese follow mi to the garden of rose, where the eating and drinking is. Your carriage can stay in the stable, over theeere. Will mi Ladi want to sleep in the manor?

"Si, Signore, I will stay one night to ease my travels. But, yes, per favore, I should like to see Lady Arielle as swiftly as possible. Grazie."

Ellie got out of the carriage, BoBo on a thin silver chain leash jumped around happily. Ellie straightened out her powder grey silk dress, and waited for the nice guards to lead the way, smiling sweetly.

Ellie went to leave the beautiful estate and return to England, where duty and hopefully good news would greet her.
She saw the kind, and obviously eager to please, guards, Galhard and Bartoloméo.
Ellie smiled and winked at them as she got into her carriage, then through the window beckoned them over.
She touched Galhard's and then Bartoloméo's cheeks with her gloved hand and said,

"Do well to protect Arielle and Deldor, the world needs people like them. Be blessed, good men."

Ellie smiled, and ordered the coachman off.

Bouche bée, les deux gardes virent le carosse s'éloigner, sentant encore la douce caresse des gants de la Dame sur leur joue. Puis ils se regardèrent et se comprirent sans dire un mot: jamais ils n'oublieraient l'élégante grandeur de cette étrangère.

Ces mots resteraient gravés dans leur mémoire et, ne serait-ce qu'en souvenir de cette grande Dame, ils feraient tout pour accomplir cet important devoir.
